There are just too many amazing books coming out this fall! And I’m so excited to share this set of board books today, not only because they have become Margaret’s favorite, but because I am hosting my first ever blog GIVEAWAY!
Gary Bower’s God Our Maker board books are a perfect way to introduce little ones to the idea of God as our loving creator!
God Paints the World is a bright, rhyming introduction to color names and animals. Margaret seriously LOVES this book! She points and says her color names while we read together! Each page has animals and plants grouped by color – yellow sunshine, yellow finches, yellow dandelions, brown squirrels looking for brown acorns in brown trees – and each page reminds us that God our maker paints each one. There are a lot of rhyming books for kids out there, but these books never feel like the rhymes are forced or awkward. Bower’s writing is really well done.
We try to be intentional about finding our girls diverse books – and God Loves the World celebrates a message of inclusion and love – the message that God’s children are all very different, and yet loved so much by their creator. I love that people of all shapes, sizes, colors, abilities, races and ages are depicted in this book and celebrated.
Worthy Publishing is sponsoring a give away where one of my readers can win a set of these amazing board books. A big thank you to them for sponsoring the giveaway and providing my review copy!
